Developer Ember Lab has announced that its action-adventure game Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which released in 2021 as a console exclusive on PlayStation, is headed to Xbox soon.
The game releases on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on August 15. Here at GameSpot, reviewer Phil Hornshaw loved Bridge of Spirits, scoring the game a 9/10 in our Kena: Bridge of Spirits review.
Mixing the adventure influences of The Legend of Zelda with character-driven storytelling and challenging combat, the game was well-received by critics and players. Kena was the debut title from Ember Lab, and was highly regarded not only at GameSpot but across a variety of other outlets. The game has an 81 metascore on GameSpot sister site Metacritic.
An anniversary edition of Bridge of Spirits came to PS5, PS4, and PC in September 2022, containing a photo mode, new game+, and other welcome updates and improvements.
In other Xbox news, the company's big Xbox Games Showcase takes place this Sunday, June 9, during which the company will unveil what's next for Xbox. The event will be followed by a briefing dedicated to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
