Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 incorporates tons of classic aspects of the turn-based genre, along with the active combat aspects it chooses to revolutionize. One of those classic aspects are different outfits you can collect and equip, including swimsuits. These swimsuits can be primarily found in areas called Gestral Beaches, which typically contain a minigame of some type that you must beat in order to unlock the swimsuits. Each of these awards a swimsuit or two, with most party members having at least one option, if not a pair of swimsuits. Below, you can find the Gestral Beach locations, along with the relevant swimsuits you unlock, and the one other way you unlock them.
Since all four beaches share the same name, these are ordered based on when you gain access to them.
The first Gestral Beach can be found to the west of the Gestral Village on the starting section of the world map. This beach has a short obstacle course you have to run across in order to unlock two swimsuits. Once you complete the obstacle course, speak with the Gestral at the end to receive your rewards. This obstacle course is relatively simple, but using Lune, who floats instead of running, makes it slightly easier.
Lune's swimsuit 1.
This beach rewards Gustave's swimsuit and Lune's swimsuit 1.
The second Gestral Beach can be found on a small beach in the east, northeast of the Stone Wave Cliffs. This becomes available after Esquie gains the ability to swim. Here you have to play a parrying minigame, which the Gestrals call volleyball. You must complete the minigame on both the middle difficulty and the hardest difficulty to obtain the two swimsuits found here.
Sciel swimsuit 2.
This beach rewards Sciel's swimsuit 2 and Lune's swimsuit 2.
The third Gestral Beach can be found in the middle section of the map, just west of Monoco's Station. The minigame here requires you to complete an Only Up-style ascending platforming challenge. If you fall off, it will likely result in you starting over from the beginning, unless you manage to not fall to the very bottom. This challenge isn't particularly difficult, and there is no timer, but you do need to make sure you are taking it slowly in certain sections.
Verso's swimsuit 2.
Completing this will reward you with Verso's swimsuit 2.
The fourth Gestral Beach can be found east of the island where Sirène is, one of the two Axons you need to fight as part of the main story. Here there is a shorter obstacle course that requires you to beat it in 38 seconds to get gold. You need gold to earn the swimsuit. Run the course once to see how to reach the end. The second time, you just need to sprint as straightforwardly as you can, and when you reach the branching path at the end, climb on the right, as it's shorter.
Monoco's swimsuit.
Earning gold rewards you with Monoco's swimsuit.
The fifth and final Gestral Beach is located in the northeast as well, a bit south of the fourth beach. To access this area Esquie will need to know how to fly.
The fifth beach minigame.
This minigame requires you climb up this wall as fireballs rain down on you. You need to reach the top without getting hit. The right side appears to have the fewest fireballs, but note that you can only reach the top via the middle, so make sure to shift over at the top.
Completing this minigame will unlock Maelle's swimsuit.
Maelle's swimsuit.
There are two additional swimsuits to unlock: Sciel's swimsuit 1 and Verso's Swimsuit 1. These are unlocked by progressing through Sciel's story, which can be done by speaking with her at camp. These character stories are partially gated by the main story, but you will unlock the swimsuits automatically once you reach one of the final story moments with Sciel. These can't be missed, so long as you progress through the main questline.
