Arc Raiders sports quite a few quests that send you to Blue Gate, but most of them don't require you to break into a dangerous husk and make it back out alive. That all changes with A Prime Specimen, which tasks you with finding some ARC Powercells and using them to loot an ARC Deforester.
For this quest, you won't need to extract to earn full completion. So, feel free to come in with a free loadout if you feel safer doing so, though you'll need to at least kill an enemy or two to find some ARC Powercells before heading to one of the ARC Deforester spots we'll have marked on a map further down.
When you're ready to knock out the A Prime Specimen quest, follow the steps we've outlined below.
For the first step of this quest, you'll need to obtain two ARC Powercells. These are among the most common items found in the game, especially if you're consistently killing ARC. These drop from any basic enemy, such as Wasps and Hornets, so just slay a few to snag two of these. Afterward, the real fun begins.
ARC Deforesters are massive husks that can be found in a few spots around the Blue Gate map. We've found at least three, which we've pinpointed on the map below.

You'll know you've found an ARC Deforester if you approach and see electrical currents on a panel just inside the husk. And yes, we're engaging with that panel next.
Looting a Deforester isn't as straightforward as you might hope. But, we've already obtained the ARC Powercells you'll need to get started, so we're halfway there. Kind of.
First up, use an ARC Powercell on the panel with all the visually apparent electricity.
Use an ARC Powercell on the panel.
This will cause fire to shoot out every few seconds inside the husk. You'll need to run past where the fire is coming out to reach another panel, so time your movements carefully to avoid getting burned. On the other side of the fire, interact with an additional panel using a second ARC Powercell.
A ledge leads you to a lootable spot.
When this is done, return close to the front of the husk and look up to spot a ledge you can reach. Jump and mantle up there.

At the top, avoid more fire to reach a spot on the back wall of the husk that can be looted.
Search the panel at the top of the ledge to complete the quest.
When you've looted the ARC Deforester, you'll have completed A Prime Specimen. With that out of the way, you're free to return to Speranza to turn in the quest, so use any extraction point you prefer to get home safely.
