Though most quests in Arc Raiders send you off to collect a quest-specific item, Celeste has decided to complicate your journey just a bit. In Tribute to Toledo, you'll be asked to track down a Power Rod, an Epic-tier item that is quite hard to come by while shooting and looting on your topside adventures. Don't worry, though, as we'll fill you in on some good ways to get your hands on a hard-to-find Power Rod.
There are a few ways to get Power Rods in Arc Raiders, ranging from looting to crafting, so let's take a look at each option.
Since Power Rods fall under the "Exodus" loot type, your best chance of looting one of these ultra-rare items is from the Rocket Assembly on the Spaceport map.
Rocket Assembly
This is a high-traffic and hotly contested POI, making it a challenging spot to navigate and survive. Try being friendly first, but be prepared for a gunfight. Remember, someone might be walking out of there with a Power Rod--and wouldn't you rather it be you?
There is no specific spot within the Rocket Assembly that guarantees a Power Rod, but many players have claimed that lockers appear to have a higher chance of spawning one of these items. Additionally, playing the map during a Night Raid can also improve your chances at higher-rarity loot, so that's never a bad idea, either.
Your other main option for obtaining a Power Rod is to craft one. However, you'll need to have your refiner workbench to level 3 to do this, so you'll have your work cut out for you if you're still relatively early in your upgrading journey.
To craft a Power Rod, you'll need to combine:
Though these may sound like challenging items to acquire, they're actually rather simple if you make use of your Refiner further.
You can start by using the Refiner to combine Plastic Parts x8 and Rubber Parts x4 (extremely common resources) into Electrical Components. Afterward, combine those with Wires x3 (easily found via recycling various types of electrical components) to create an Advanced Electrical Components item.
Arc Circuitry, meanwhile, can be crafted using ARC Alloy x6, which is another incredibly common resource you'll find constantly while looting fallen ARC enemies. You'll likely have more of these than you could ever need after a few hours into the game.
If all of this is too far out of your reach for now, you can also get a free power rod by simply dismantling a Snap Hook, the legendary-tier (yellow) grappling hook item that you can find in some rare loot spots randomly, on knocked-out raiders, or in the Arc Raiders battle pass. By breaking it down, you'll get one Power Rod among other items. The Snap Hook is an incredible tool in its own right, but we've heard of many people breaking one of theirs down as a sacrifice for the elusive power rod.
Once you find or craft a Power Rod, speak with Celeste to complete Tribute to Toledo.
