Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Features This Hollywood Actor As A New Character

Activision has confirmed more details on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and specifically a Hollywood actor who is playing a role in the game. Y'Lan Noel, who starred on the TV series Insecure and the movie The First Purge, is lending his voice to a new character in Black Ops 6.

Activision marketing boss Tyler Bahl confirmed this to Variety, saying Noel is playing an unspecified character seen in the game's key art. That's all the company would confirm about the character, but more details are expected to be divulged during the Black Ops 6 Direct on Sunday, June 9.

For now, Bahl said Black Ops 6 is a game about conspiracy theories and clandestine government agencies working in the dark. Players are asked to consider if what they have been told is in fact true. While Black Ops 6 is rumored to take place decades ago during the Gulf War, Bahl said its themes may be relevant still today.

"When we started to break this down, especially for today, in this moment, there's digital media being altered, there's things changing all the time," Bahl said. "I think one of the themes of the game is around, is the government working against you? Can I trust what I'm reading? Can I trust what I'm seeing?--just like the game is going to feel once players are able to play."

In addition to the new character played by Noel, Black Ops 6 is expected to bring back popular Black Ops characters like Adler and Woods. Black Ops 6 is rumored to launch in late October and will come to Game Pass on day one.
