Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7's Celebrity Cast Revealed

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, revealing a cinematic trailer to showcase the return of David Mason, who has received a slight makeover to look like actor Milo Ventimiglia. Additionally, an exclusive from Variety has revealed two more major cast members who will star in the upcoming Black Ops game.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Black Ops 7 is set in the year 2035, which is more than four decades after the events of Black Ops 6. Originally introduced in Black Ops 2, David Mason returns in Black Ops 7 to lead a team against "a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else." David will look a bit different to fans, as he is now more recognizable as his new voice and motion-capture actor, Milo Ventimiglia, who is known for his roles in This Is Us and Gilmore Girls.

Activision marketing chief Tyler Bahl described the casting of Ventimiglia to Variety as being as the right fit for "an iconic character from the franchise and one of the fan favorites" from Black Ops 2.

Variety also revealed Kiernan Shipka and Michael Rooker have also been cast. Kiernan Shipka, who is most notable from Mad Men, plays the character Emma Kagan, and she seems to be a newcomer to the Call of Duty universe. Michael Rooker of Guardians of the Galaxy fame will be reprising his role as Mike Harper from Black Ops 2.

Yesterday's announcement trailer was just the beginning of what will be a huge marketing campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. We'll likely get more cast announcements or details in the coming weeks. Activision also didn't reveal a release date but confirmed the game is coming this year to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC (via the Xbox PC app, Steam, and Battle.net). While not yet confirmed, Black Ops 7 is likely coming to Switch 2.

The Black Ops 7 cinematic reveal trailer already has fans speculating about the next potential battle royale map for Warzone.
