Data miners uncovered and leaked details on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's release versions and preorder order bonuses ahead of the Modern Warfare 3 reveal stream planned for tomorrow, August 17. While it's wise to take any leaks with a grain of salt, based on the quality of the information and the proximity to the reveal, we have a strong degree of confidence in these preorder details. That means we now have a good idea of what to expect from Modern Warfare 3's various console and PC editions, including the special Vault Edition with a bunch additional content, plus the enticing preorder bonuses Activision plans to reveal tomorrow.
Note that it's possible some of this information will change once the official announcements are made during tomorrow's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 stream, and that preorder links aren't yet live. Nonetheless, here's everything we know about Call of Duty 3: Modern Warfare preorders.
So far, we know of three leaked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 preorder bonuses, including early access to the single-player campaign and multiplayer open beta, and a Soap Operator DLC pack.
The exact early access date is unspecified, but Activision offered a similar one-week early access preorder bonus for Modern Warfare 2, so we expect Modern Warfare 3's to be the same, meaning you should be able to play Modern Warfare 3 starting November 3.
The leaked Soap Operator pack includes two character skins and a weapon blueprint usable in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, as well as Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Both perks are included with all preorders.
