A Capcom Spotlight event has been announced for June 26, and it is confirmed to give us a deeper look at games like Resident Evil Requiem.
Currently, four games are confirmed for Capcom Spotlight: Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6, and Monster Hunter Wilds. The showcase will take place at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET on June 26 and is expected to last around 40 minutes. The website for this Capcom Spotlight confirms that the next update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be the focus of its segment, but the other games will tease news and developer interviews.
Resident Evil Requiem was the final reveal of this year's Summer Game Fest showcase, and GameSpot subseqently went hands-on with it. Hopefully, the public will get their first good look at gameplay during this Capcom Spotlight. GameSpot also went hands-on with Pragmata at Summer Game Fest Play Days this year, so Capcom could use this showcase to highlight its puzzle-action combat. Finally, Sagat's addition to Street Fighter 6 is imminent, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in action during this Capcom Spotlight.
While Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6 are already out, Resident Evil Requiem will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 27, 2026. Pragmata will follow later in the year on the same platforms, although a specific release date hasn't yet been confirmed.
