Call of Duty's Season 4 Reloaded update is live in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, bringing maps and modes themed around mutations for the new Altered Strain seasonal event. This update also adds the Reclaimer 18 shotgun. Here we'll guide you through all the ways to unlock this new gun.
The Reclaimer 18 is described as a "tactical shotgun that can be fired in both pump-action and semi-auto modes." This shotgun is included as part of a new bonus challenge sector in the battle pass, which includes a series of challenges that need to be completed to unlock the weapon.
Reclaimer 18 shotgun
The challenges can be completed in multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone.
Sector 1 challenge: Get 10 operator or special zombie kills with shotguns
Reward: 30-minute double XP token
Sector 2 challenge: Get 10 operator of special zombie hip-fire kills with shotguns
Reward: Angel of Death - Large weapon decal
Sector 3 challenge: Get 5 operator or special zombie kills while aiming down sights with shotguns
Reward: Killshot - Emblem
Sector 4 challenge: Get 7 operator or special zombie tac-stance kills with shotguns
Reward: Elegant Riposte - Operator finishing move
Sector 5 challenge: Get 5 operator headshots or special zombie critical kills with shotguns
Reward: Reclaimer 18 shotgun
The first four sectors can be completed in any order, but they all must be completed to unlock the fifth and final sector challenge for the weapon unlock. For Zombies mode challenges, the special zombies are the enemy types such as Mimics, Manglers, and Disciples.
The Reclaimer 18 can also be unlocked through a successful exfil in Zombies. If a friend has this new shotgun already, just invite them to play a round of Zombies with the Reclaimer 18 as their insured weapon. They can drop the shotgun for you to pick up at the start of the match, and then you just need to successfully exfil with it. You might even get lucky and loot an enemy player who has this weapon equipped. This Zombies unlock method works for any weapon in the game.
Shop bundles usually feature new weapons to give an additional way to gain access to a new weapon without completing the unlock requirements. Currently, the in-game shop doesn't feature the Reclaimer 18 in any bundles, but one will likely arrive in a future shop update.
