Game Pass Adds A Highly Rated WW1 Shooter Today

The Game Pass catalog on Xbox and PC grows today, June 13, with the addition of the highly regarded WW1 shooter Isonzo from developer BlackMill Games.

Isonzo is the latest entry in the studio's WW1 game series, following Verdun and Tannenberg. In Isonzo, players take part in 24v24 matches set on the Italian front and featuring recreations of real-world battles like the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo that took place in 1916.

Players can fight against other humans (with cross-play support on console) or AI, with multiple class loadouts to choose from and a roster of 50+ period-accurate WW1 weapons and gear. Check out some gameplay footage in the video above.

Isonzo was originally released in September 2022 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The game has a "very positive" aggregate rating on Steam, along with a 4/5 aggregate rating on Xbox.

If Isonzo doesn't sound like your kind of game, DICE's Battlefield 1, another WW1 shooter, is also available on Game Pass via EA Play.

It's not the only high-profile game added to Game Pass on June 13, as Dead Space co-creator Glen Schofield's latest horror game, The Callisto Protocol, is out now on Game Pass as well. Check out the gallery below to see a rundown of all the latest additions to Game Pass.
