GTA 5 And Enhanced Version Out Now On Game Pass

Following its debut in March, GTA 5's new Enhanced edition is now available through PC Game Pass. Additionally, GTA 5 for Xbox Series X|S is out now on Game Pass, and not just the more expensive Ultimate version. GTA 5 for Xbox Series X|S is included with Game Pass Ultimate and Standard.

The Game Pass Ultimate subscription ($20/month) includes PC Game Pass, which by itself costs $12/month. Game Pass Standard, meanwhile, costs $15/month. If you want to stream GTA 5, you'll need Game Pass Ultimate.

GTA 5 Enhanced brings a number of features and improvements previously only available on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 to PC, including better graphics, faster loading times, and more vehicles. There are PC-specific features, too, including ray-traced ambient occlusion and global illumination. AMD FSR and Nvidia DLSS are supported as well on PC.

GTA 5 Enhanced also adds support for Rockstar's subscription service, GTA+, which includes special perks and bonuses for GTA Online, along with full games like Bully, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, and more.

GTA 5 Enhanced's release in March didn't go over entirely smoothly, with players initially reporting bugs and issues. However, recent reviews on Steam are much more positive, but not enough to shift the game's overall user rating from "Mixed."

Rockstar Games has brought GTA 5 to Game Pass and removed it multiple times already, and there is no word on how long the game may stick around this time. Alternatively, GTA 5 Enhanced is available to buy from a variety of stores, including GameSpot sister site Fanatical.

In other GTA news, everyone wants to know when GTA 6 is coming out, but as of yet, Rockstar has yet to reveal a release date. Despite that, now that Take-Two's Mafia: The Old Country and Borderlands 4 have solidified release dates, people believe that may provide a clue about GTA 6's release date.
