Code Vein 2 is a punishing soulslike adventure that sends you into a perilous world to fight challenging foes and tackle a time-bending story. But the most important part is that you look good doing it, right? That's where this game's deep and feature-packed character creation system comes into play, allowing you to create a playable character that really matches your preferences.
However, even if you spend multiple hours getting everything about your character exactly how you want it before beginning the game, there's a chance you'll eventually see something you wish you'd styled differently--or perhaps you're just the kind of person who likes to change things up sometimes. Luckily, there's one spot in Code Vein 2 that you can visit at any time to rework your character's appearance.
Whether you're looking to swap hairstyles, give yourself some cool new makeup, or equip a whole new outfit, here's how to change your appearance in Code Vein 2.
To change your character's appearance in Code Vein 2, you'll need to reach the game's main hub, MagMell. Luckily, you'll only need to make a little bit of progress in the main story to find your way here, so you'll be able to dive back into the character creation process very early in your adventure.
Once you've reached MagMell, you'll need to find the hot springs' changing room. This giant hub building can feel overwhelming for new players and is likely to take multiple visits to get a full understanding of how everything is laid out.
For now, here's the path to take to reach the changing room in MagMell:
From the main MagMell mistle, take the door directly to the left.
Go past the store counter and up the stairs, following the path until you're on the upper walkway.
Take the first floor on the left into the room with red carpet.
Walk forward down the stairs and through the curtains to reach the changing room.
In this room, approach any of the locations with a purple dot to open the full character creator again. Here, you can completely redesign your character as you see fit. Of course, feel free to revisit as often as you'd like, as there is no in-game penalty for changing up your vibe.
Code Vein 2 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
