How To Find And Use Lingonberries and Blueberries For Leather In Grounded 2

Obsidian's bug-fighting survival game returns with Grounded 2, where you'll need to scavenge resources and craft recipes to survive the open world of Brookhollow Park. You'll quickly learn that important armor and tool upgrades require Lingonberry Leather or Blueberry Leather. Our guide will show you where to find the Lingonberry and Blueberry patches on the map, as well as explain how you turn the berries into leather.

You'll also need the level II upgrade for the Omni-Axe in order to collect the berry pieces. If you still need to upgrade, make sure to check out our Omni-Tool upgrade guide.

Lingonberry location in Grounded 2

Lingonberry location
As shown in the map image above, Lingonberries grow on the western edge of the map. This is located just north of the Snackbar. These are red berries growing on plants at the edge of the map. Some of these berries are low enough that you can jump up and knock them down. Otherwise, you'll need to shoot them down with a bow and arrow.

Chop them with the Omni-Axe level II (or higher) and collect the pieces. You might want to take the time to grab several pieces. The Lingonberry Leather is used in several different recipes, and we'll discuss how you make leather in the section below.

Blueberry location in Grounded 2

Blueberry location on map
As shown in the map image above, blueberry bushes are found in the southeast corner of the map, which is right below the Ice Cream Cart. You can score blueberries with fairly little resistance if you come here early in your campaign. If you wait until later in your campaign, you'll likely be faced with two O.R.C. Bee bosses to fight.

How to craft Lingonberry Leather and Blueberry Leather

You'll need a workbench to turn the berries into leather. You can make a workbench via the crafting wheel. It requires the following material to craft a workbench:

  • 3 - Grass planks
  • 4 - Sprigs
  • 2 - Sap

You'll find the option to craft leather in the resource section of the workbench. It takes three pieces of either Blueberry or Lingonberry to make one leather.

Make sure to analyze both berry pieces as well as the leather you craft from it. This will help you learn new craft recipes.
