Rockstar Games has announced a new event in GTA Online through which players can easily earn $1 million or more of GTA$. Now through April 1, Rockstar Games is holding the Community Series Showcase, which is described as a "blowout celebration" of GTA Online creators and their works.
Players who take on any of the Community Series events will get a gift of $1 million worth of GTA$, and that's just the beginning. Anyone who completes any five Community Series jobs each week will get a bonus of GTA$ 500,000 each week, capped at $1,500,000. The deposits will hit players' Maze Bank accounts within 72 hours, so don't panic if the money doesn't hit right away.
Additionally, all Community Series jobs pay out triple RP and GTA$ through April 1. These are fan-made missions created using GTA Online's user-generated content tools, spanning racing and combat multiplayer modes.
Rockstar also has its own internally developed multiplayer experiences within GTA Online, and the ongoing influx of new modes to play is part of the reason why GTA Online has remained so popular, even years after release. It's expected that some form of GTA Online, including user-generated content, will be available in GTA 6, but this has yet to be confirmed. We don't know, however, if any currency or unlocks from GTA Online will be available for the next iteration of the game, if it is indeed happening.
Beyond the Community Series events, Rockstar announced a St. Patrick's Day takeover for GTA Online, with "lucky clovers" appearing in the game now to celebrate. Players can collect these, as well as a rare Golden Clover, to earn GTA$ and RP rewards.
In other news, the GTA subscription service GTA+ just recently added its first non-Rockstar game with NBA 2K26 joining the catalog--but only for a limited time.
