Another special event arrives in Pokemon Pokopia this month, allowing you to earn new in-game items and add another Pokemon to the world. Pokopia's latest event is themed around Sableye, and this guide will explain how to participate and all items you can collect.
Currently, Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest is live in Pokopia until April 26, so make sure to participate if you want to earn a special trophy and additional game resources. Make sure to check out our complete Pokopia guides hub to learn how to build all habitats, cook all recipes, and more.
Pokopia's Sableye event is live from April 29 to May 13, and the event will start and end at 5 AM in your local time. Technically, you can time travel in Pokopia and start the event early.
This works like past events, where you will get a notification about a "new Pokemon who is the talk of the town." Visit any of the Pokemon centers you've rebuilt to find Sableye either outside or inside the building.
If you haven't played yet and are just starting out, make sure you progress far enough in the game to rebuild the first Pokemon Center as part of the "Yawn up a Storm" important request for Withered Wastelands.
For this event, Sableye is looking for Red Crystal Fragments. The Pokemon will enlist your help, and then you simply need to harvest some of these fragments.
Red crystal clusters won't start spawning in the world until the event begins, but they are basically red variants of the blue crystal clusters found in caves. Punch them to harvest the Red Crystal Fragments you need for the event.
These can presumably be found in any Dream Island cave, but they are more abundant on the volcanic-themed Dream Island, which you can get Drifloon to take you to when using the Arcanine Doll.
Sableye is a Pokemon newly introduced to Pokopia, and you'll want to befriend the Pokemon and build their habitat. Sableye will trade you event-exclusive items for the Red Crystal Fragments you find, and some of these items are used to build the Pokemon's specific habitat, and other items are just decorative items and generic habitat builds.
This includes the following event items:
You only need one Map and Compass, an Adventure Kit, and one Treasure item to build Sableye's habitat.
