Maple Syrup is a foraged item in Stardew Valley that has a few different uses. It's needed to craft a few items, including one that's the only consistent way to get honey. In order to collect maple syrup, you will need a special tool as well.
Maple Syrup can be collected from maple trees by using a tapper. You can craft tappers at foraging level 4 using 40 wood and 2 copper bars. To collect maple syrup, you need to place the tapper on a maple tree and wait nine days for it to produce maple syrup. If you get a heavy tapper, a late-game, upgraded tapper, it takes half the time to produce. Maple trees have a tan tree color and large green trees.
