These objects can also show up in unexpected places, especially in dead end rooms that are likely to have items. These include the Attic and Walk-In Closet, as well as green-type rooms like the Courtyard or Greenhouse.
Another place that you can check out is the Toolshed, which is one of the potential outdoor rooms in the drafting pool. However, you can only gain access to the outdoor rooms once you've unlocked the Garage Door and West Gate.
These are the ways to get the Sledge Hammer and Shovel in Blue Prince. While RNG may not always be in your favor, we do hope that you get a decent run once you obtain these tools early.
