Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been one of the surprise hits of 2025 as it raced to over 3 million copies sold and peaked at 250,000 concurrent users on Steam. Now, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is heading to PlayStation Plus Premium for an extended preview that lets players dive into the early hours of the game.
Warhorse Studios announced on social media that PS Plus Premium subscribers can play the first four hours of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. And for any players who want to purchase the game and keep on playing, their progress from the first four hours will carry over.
There have been a number of new features added to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 since its release. The latest patch introduced horse racing to the game, as well as mounted archery competitions. Additionally, there are now three new horse racing-related quests, including Horses for Courses, Racing Horseshoes, and The Executioner's Edge. The patch also fixed a humorous bug that caused Harry's dog, Mutt, to randomly attack him.
Daniel Vavra, the game director for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, hasn't announced a follow-up project yet. However, Vavra has expressed interest in a potential "AI revolution" that would allow him to create and release games much more quickly than traditional development allows.
Players who don't want to stop after Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's main story can purchase the game's expansion pass. As part of that expansion, Warhorse Studios has already added a new quest called Brushes With Death, while Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesia will be added in the fall and the winter, respectively.
