The Mario & Luigi RPG series is coming back after a dormant nine years. Mario & Luigi: Brothership was announced during the summer Nintendo Direct presentation, and it already has a release date of November 7, 2024.
The trailer showed the familiar Mario & Luigi art style, done up with the added power of the Switch including full 3D models. The two got into some cartoon hijinks, battled against enemies with their signature double attacks, and set sail. The announcement called this a "sea-faring" adventure that takes place across multiple islands.
