Nintendo has announced that the next Nintendo Direct event will take place this coming Thursday, January 29. It will be the second Direct in the past seven days, following the January 25 Nintendo Direct that was focused on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct will take place on January 29 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. The broadcast will run for about 20 minutes and will include "more info" on the new Switch game.
The event will stream in all the usual places, including YouTube and Twitch, along with the Nintendo Today mobile app.
The game is slated for release this Spring, but does not have a specific release date assigned to it as of yet, so that could be one of the announcements in the Direct.
The game takes place on a island floating in the sea, with Mii characters living their lives in harmony. Players create Mii characters to populate the island and select things like their voice and personality. "You can see what's on their minds, help them solve problems, watch them interact, cultivate their friendships, and more," Nintendo said.
Living the Dream is a sequel to the 2013 3DS game Tomodachi Life.
