Nintendo Direct Ends With Big Xbox Games, Including Oblivion Remastered And Fallout

To close out the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Xbox subsidiary Bethesda showed up to confirm the release dates for Nintendo Switch 2 ports of Fallout 4, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

The Bethesda segment began with a message from Todd Howard, who complimented the original Switch before affirming a blowout of Switch 2 support from Bethesda Game Studios this year. The first game to arrive this year will be Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, an ultimate edition of the post-apocalyptic RPG that's launching on February 24.

The next port to launch will be Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which originally released as an Xbox Series X|S console exclusive in December 2024. It comes out on May 12, although there's no word on its expansion yet. Finally, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was confirmed to be getting a Switch 2 port about a year out from its surprise launch. That remaster port just has a general 2026 release window.

The Switch 2 ports of Fallout 4 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle had previously been teased, but the reveal that Oblivion Remastered was also coming to Nintendo's console was a nice surprise. Hopefully, all of these games perform better than Switch 2's recent port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. To recap, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launches February 24, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches May 12, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will arrive sometime later this year.
