PlayStation State Of Play February 2026: Start Time, How To Watch, And What To Expect

The year has barely begun, and we've already seen several showcases from big companies like Nintendo and Microsoft. Now, it's Sony's turn to show what it has lined up for 2026 and beyond with a new State of Play broadcast on February 12. We've rounded up all the details for the livestream, so you can see exactly when it kicks off, where to watch, and what to expect.

How to watch State of Play

As usual, State of Play will be streamed live on Sony's YouTube and Twitch channels.

State of Play start time

The State of Play broadcast begins February 12, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET and will run for approximately 60 minutes.

  • 2 PM PT
  • 5 PM ET
  • 10 PM BST
  • 11 PM CEST
  • 6 AM JST (February 13)

What to expect

Sony says viewers can expect over an hour of news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios around the world, but hasn't explained which games or developers will be involved. It's likely that several games from previous livestreams will make an appearance--like Saros, Marvel's Wolverine, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and MLB The Show 26--and we wouldn't be too surprised if the recently announced Horizon Hunters Gathering from Guerrilla Games is given the spotlight.

Bungie's extraction shooter Marathon is also out on March 5, so a new trailer for it isn't unlikely, and Hideo Kojima has some interesting timing for his social media posts lately. On the third-party side, the next couple of months are stacked with several big releases from Capcom--Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata--007: First Light from IO Interactive, WWE 2K26 from 2K Games, and the first post-launch expansion for Borderlands 4 is also out soon.
