Street Fighter 6 first released for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in 2023, and Nintendo fans will finally get to jump into the fray when it releases for Switch 2 on the console's launch day, June 5. Preorders are now open for Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, and you'll find two different versions up for grabs, one of which comes packed with all the DLC bonus fighters released over the past two years on other platforms. Along with the Switch 2 version of the game, a new line of Street Fighter Amiibo are also up for preorder, allowing you to unlock exclusive in-game goodies or quickly load your settings to a different console.
There are currently no preorder bonuses for Street Fighter 6. However, one edition of the game comes bundled with tons of in-game content, so if you're looking for more than the base game, be sure to check out the Fighter's Edition. If any preorder bonuses pop up between now and June 5, we'll update this section with details.
Preorders for a bunch of Switch 2 accessories and games are also open now, and we've listed all the big launch window releases available to preorder below. Be sure to also check our Switch 2 preorder guide for a round-up of everywhere you can grab Nintendo's new console, accessories, and games ahead of launch.
Street Fighter 6 isn't the only Switch 2 games launching on June 5 alongside the console. Other notable launch day games include Mario Kart World and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster.
Along with these all-new games, several games from the original Switch are getting enhanced Switch 2 Edition releases, a few of which are available to preorder now. This includes a whole new adventure for Kirby and the Forgotten Land with the Star-Crossed World expansion and a bunch of new minigames and features for Super Mario Party Jamboree.
A Switch 2 Pro Controller is a wise choice if you'll be playing Street Fighter 6, as most users will find it to be a bit more ergonomic and better suited for the frantic inputs required of the fighting game. You could also preorder a carrying case to protect your Switch 2 or snag a Switch 2 Camera to enjoy its new communication features.
Street Fighter 6 and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are both getting cool new Amiibo. All of them interact with the Switch 2, giving you a chance to unlock unique features or in-game bonuses.
