Siege X, the new version of the popular Rainbow Six Siege, is getting a closed beta--and it starts today, March 13. The closed beta will feature the just-announced 6v6 game mode, Dual Front.
The closed beta takes place today, March 13, starting at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET, and ends at the same time on March 19. It will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Ubisoft Connect.
Players have to watch the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase on the Rainbow 6 Twitch channel or a content creators' Twitch livestream to received a Twitch drop providing access to the test. Players also need to link their Twitch and Ubisoft accounts.
If you miss out on the showcase itself, you can get a code by watching "participating livestreams" during the week-long closed beta test.
Players do not need to own Rainbow Six Siege to access the closed beta for Siege X. Full instructions on how to get into the Siege X test can be found on Ubisoft's website.
Set on Rainbow Six Siege's biggest-ever map, Dual Front is unique in that it features respawns. You can read more about all the changes in our Rainbow Six Siege X hands-on preview.
Siege X is described as the "biggest evolution" that Siege has ever seen, featuring gameplay changes, a visual overhaul, and an "enhanced player experience." The game is set to officially launch in June 2025.
