Nintendo exclusives rarely receive permanent price cuts, and limited-time discounts at major retailers and the eShop don't pop up nearly as often as deals on third-party titles and games for PS5 and Xbox Series X. This week is one of the exceptions, as all major retailers are hosting noteworthy video game promotions thanks to Amazon Prime Day 2025, Target Circle Week, Best Buy's Black Friday in July, and Walmart Deals.
Among the deals are a handful of Super Mario platformers and role-playing games. The brilliant 3D adventure Super Mario Odyssey is on sale for $39. You can also get the side-scrolling platformer New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for $39. Both games have free Switch 2 upgrades, and Mario Odyssey in particular is gorgeous on Switch 2. Turn-based RPG fans can get the Super Mario RPG remake for $39 and last year's Mario & Luigi: Brothership for a new best-ever price of $40.

Below, we've rounded up a list of the best Nintendo Switch game deals available now. We will continue to add to this list as new sales launch, including Amazon Prime Day (July 8-11) and Walmart Deals (July 8-13). Best Buy is running a Black Friday in July sale, and Target has its latest iteration of Circle Week for free rewards club members.
We've only included physical game deals in our lists, but it's worth noting that the Nintendo Switch eShop's Summer Sale is running through July 9.
Walmart has a tendency to one-up the competition by one-upping the savings, so you can get many of the Switch games in the sale for $39 instead of the $40 price offered by Target and Best Buy.
Best Buy is the only major retailer selling Mario & Luigi: Brothership for $40 at the moment.
To get the deals at Target, you need to sign up for a free Target Circle Week membership.
Amazon itself is still replenishing its stock of Nintendo games after not selling them for over a year, so the retailer won't have as many deals as competitors such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. That said, Amazon-owned retailer Woot has a bunch of deals on Switch games, with the only caveat being that some games in its its inventory are region-free imports. The Switch and Switch 2 can play games originating from any region--and everything Woot sells can be played in English--but it's worth keeping this in mind.
