Infold has officially revealed the Ballad of Antara, a high-fantasy action game, during the latest PlayStation State of Play event.
The trailer opens with a person narrating in vague terms how things have changed and are no longer the same. As the trailer goes on, we're given glimpses of the world, and the enemy players will fight along the way.
Thanks to a PlayStation Blog post, we know the game will be free-to-play. Players will travel through two worlds throughout the Ballad of Antara, as shown in the trailer. The first world is considered the "normal version" where "common folk reside." The other world will be called Para, and it'll be filled with more "peculiar sightings" and enemies.
In addition, players can have multiple characters with various classes. They can also play by themselves or with three other friends via online co-op. Currently, the game doesn't have a release date, but the studio is aiming for a 2025 release window and the studio plans to support the game with more content post-launch.
