The Division 2 Is Crossing Over With Assassin's Creed This Week

Following a crossover event with Avatar, Ubisoft's The Division 2 is joining forces with another one of the company's top franchises, Assassin's Creed.

A limited-time event starts tomorrow, January 29, and runs through February 10. During the event, The Division 2 players can deck out their characters to look like Ezio Auditore and Edward Kenway from the Assassin's Creed series. There are also special weapon skins, a backpack trophy, and arm patches to unlock.

Players can get the new Assassin's Creed-themed wares in The Division 2 through the game's Event Pass. This features both free and paid tracks. Players can unlock content through normal gameplay progression or by spending real money.

The Division franchise celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and Ubisoft is reportedly planning a definitive edition to mark the occasion.

Additionally, Ubisoft is working on The Division 3. The game just recently lost one of its top bosses, Julian Gerighty, who left the studio to join EA and the Battlefield series. Before leaving, Gerighty said The Division 3 is going to be a "monster." The game was announced back in 2023 but we still haven't learned much about it, though.
