Though everyone will be able to shop the deals starting today, July 8, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET, the sale is exclusive to Walmart+ subscribers until then. Normally $99 for a one-year membership, Walmart+ is 50% off this week, dropping the price to only $49. It's worth noting that some of the best deals during Walmart's big sales events sell out quickly once they are available to everyone, so the discounts plus all of the year-long perks of the subscription may make it worthwhile to sign up for Walmart+.

Beyond early access to its shopping events, a Walmart+ subscription also gets you free next-day and two-day shipping, a subscription to the Paramount+ streaming service, and same-day grocery delivery. That works out to just over $4 a month for some pretty great perks, and the sale that's on currently has some great bargains available.
Even if you're not interested in joining, you can get some pretty good gaming deals, especially if you're looking to pump up your Nintendo Switch library.
