Now might be a great time to gear up and pop down to the Dreaming City when a new event themed around Riven's Wishes goes live, and Xur is here to help. The roving arms dealer is back with his usual assortment of Exotic and Legendary-class goods, so don't miss out on some high-powered deals over the next couple of days. Here's where Xur is this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in The Watcher's Grave. For his weapon, Xur is offering Fighting Lion. Hunters can pick up the Foetracer helmet; Titans can grab the Severance Enclosure chest armor; and Warlocks can buy the Lunafaction boots.
Head to Nessus and use the Watcher's Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.
Foetracer works pretty well if you're running a Solar build this season, as damaging a powerful combatant--or Guardian--with an ability will give you a temporary damage buff to your weapon if it matches your subclass type. Defeating a target with this buff active and the right weapon spawns an elemental pickup, making it even more useful when you have the right loadout. This helmet has great strength and resilience stats, and recovery isn't too bad either. Intellect is very low, so you'll need to plug that gap with an armor mod if you're looking to prioritize that stat.
Severance Enclosure pops up in Xur's inventory very rarely, so if you haven't gotten this Exotic yet, don't miss out on grabbing it now. The Spheromatik Trigger perk will make powered melee final blows unleash a damaging explosion, and using that attack or a finisher against a more powerful opponent increases the power and radius of your demolition-fists. This Exotic has suitably high strength and resilience stats, and a well-balanced spread across the other categories.
Lunafaction Boots can make your rifts pretty useful in high-level encounters, as your weapon reload speed will be increased. That makes it great for your fellow guardians wielding machine guns and rocket launchers, and the stats aren't too bad either. Intellect and strength are low, but mobility, resilience, recovery, and discipline range from average to high overall.
Fighting Lion has been a favorite amongst grenade launcher fans for years now, and after a series of tweaks, it's a pretty great weapon for players who want more control over their explosives. You can choose when to detonate the projectiles, direct hits will do more damage to enemy shields, and dealing damage increases the reload speed of Fighting Lion. If you can land rapid final blows with it, there's a high chance to refill the magazine as well.
This roll of Hawkmoon popped up a few weeks ago, and it wasn't exactly great. You're getting two grip perks with this edition of the hand cannon--Hip-Fire and Heavy Grip--making for a forgettable instance of the weapon this week.
