One of the "worst-kept secrets" in gaming--Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced--is finally about to be officially revealed. Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced an official showcase for the game, and here's when you can see the grand reveal for yourself.
Ubisoft will host the first look at the game on its YouTube and Twitch channels today.
You can catch the livestream at the following times today:
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag remains one of the most popular entries in the franchise, and Ubisoft's showcase is teasing a closer look at how the game has been modernized for PC and console. We're also expecting to get details on its official release date--which is rumored to be July 9--a closer look at the various editions of the game that will go on sale, and a deep dive into the new content that has been created for it.
But will Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced also feature cut content? The game will reportedly ditch the modern-day sections of the original adventure, which saw players explore the Abstergo Entertainment offices, in favor of new story beats for the pirate character Mary Read. This wouldn't be too unusual a move, as last year's Assassin's Creed: Shadows featured no playable sections set in contemporary times.
Beyond Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft is also working on a "darker" Assassin's Creed codenamed Hexe, the multiplayer game codenamed Invictus, and a live-action series with Netflix.
