Battlefield 6 Leak Shows Off Tank-Vs-Tank Mayhem

Footage of Battlefield 6, or whatever the next game is called, continues to emerge online ahead of the game's proper unveiling soon. This latest gameplay clip shows off some tank-vs-tank mayhem.

The Battlefield series is known for its chaotic action, and this latest clip certainly delivers the goods in that respect, as we see multiple tank-drivers going head-to-head as the bullets fly around them with supporting engineers repairing one player's tank. The clip (via GamesRadar) ends with one tank getting blown to smithereens surrounded by a cloud of smoke. It's classic Battlefield stuff.

This footage emerged from the Battlefield Labs test, which forbids users from sharing footage online. Despite that, there have been numerous leaks from the tests that have provided a good look at the in-development game in its non-final state.

EA has said it will officially reveal the new Battlefield game at some point this summer and then release the title by the end of March 2026. With GTA 6 now delayed to 2026, EA has said the game's launch window is "clearer than before." A previous rumor said Battlefield 6 could launch in Fall 2025, and with GTA 6 now out of the way, many are wondering if that might come to pass.

Battlefield 6 is the first new Battlefield game since 2021's Battlefield 2042, which had a rough launch but went on to become 2021's No. 5 best-selling game overall in the US.

While Battlefield 6 may not be launching all that soon, a Battlefield Heroes-inspired shooter is coming this month.
