Call of Duty has featured famously small maps like Shipment before, but Black Ops 7 takes things further for April Fools' Day, adding a hilariously tiny map in a limited-time game mode.
Developer Treyarch shared what looked like the layout of a small map on social media, and you can play on it right now. The game mode called "GRWM" (an acronym for "get ready with me") puts you in a free-for-all match with a max of eight players in what appears to be a walk-in closet or changing room, the most intimate setting for a firefight that Call of Duty has conceived.
Unsurprisingly, with all players together in such close quarters and very little cover, chaos and carnage follow as soon as the match starts. Matches end once a player reaches a score of 67, a not-so-subtle reference to the 6-7 meme that has arguably gone out of fashion.
Playing the GRWM mode is an opportune time to grind and level up your character and weapons, especially since double XP is active today. There isn't any official word from Treyarch or Activision on whether this joke mode and double XP period will only last for April Fools' Day, but it would be unsurprising if that were the case.
This isn't the first time Call of Duty has pulled an April Fools' prank like this before--for the Modern Warfare reboot, Infinity Ward made an April Fools' playlist called "COD Players Only Want One Thing" that put players in 10v10 matches on Shipment.
Other companies have joined in the April Fools' fun this year, with PUBG: Battlegrounds, Fortnite, and Pokemon Pokopia among the other titles adding gags to their gameplay.

Black Ops 7's April Fools Update gives us a NEW smallest map in Call Of Duty History... (called GRWM)
It's Free For All only and you win when you get "67" elims
