The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, and it’s shaping up to be a worthy successor to the original handheld console. A slew of first-party Nintendo accessories arrive the same day (including controllers, a camera, and carrying cases), but a recent price hike for these accessories has made them a bit more expensive than anticipated. GameStop has you covered, however, as the retailer is launching its own lineup of branded Switch 2 gear--giving you a chance to pick up a bunch of accessories for cheap. Preorders are now open ahead of their June 5 release.

There are a lot of great accessories in the GameStop lineup, but it’s the carrying cases that are the most enticing. Nintendo recently raised the prices of the Carrying Case and All-In-One Carrying Case to $40 and $85. However, GameStop is offering similar products for $25 and $35, making them wonderful alternatives for frugal shoppers. The standard Carrying Case provides your handheld with a durable, hardshell exterior, and inside you’ll find slots to hold 10 cartridges. The All-In-One Case, meanwhile, is large enough to lug around your console, dock, charging cables, and other gear.
If you’re planning on adding Mario Kart World to your gaming library, take a look at the Joy-Con 2 Racing Wheels (2-Pack). These cost just $17 (compared to Nintendo’s $25), and they look like a decent way for you and a friend to enjoy the chaotic multiplayer action. As a bonus, they’re backward compatible with the original Joy-Con.
Other notable items include a 24-Game Cartridge Case for $10, a versatile Joy-Con 2 Charging Station for $25, and a Thumbstick Grip Bundle for $10. GameSpot also launched a few microSD Express Cards, but these don’t seem like the best value when compared to other options on the market. Prices for these have risen by as much as $40, and you’ll find a Samsung microSD Express Card 256GB for $60 compared to the $70 offered by GameStop.
All of these Switch 2 GameStop accessories are now available to preorder, with a release date scheduled for June 5 (the same day as the console). So if the tariff-induced price hikes of Nintendo’s first-party gear are a bit much to stomach, the GameStop lineup is worth a closer look.
That said, if you're looking to pick up official accessories for the Switch 2 alongside your preorder for the new console, we've compiled all the Switch 2 Accessories available to preorder below. All of the products listed below launch on June 5, the same day as the new console.
