Arc Raiders' Riven Tides update introduces a handful of new quests to take on, but not all of them immediately send you to the new coastal map. Line in the Sand sends you to the all-too-familiar Buried City to figure out why a train never reached Marano Station. You'll be visiting multiple spots on the map, so be prepared for a bit of jogging.
There aren't any major concerns with this quest, as it's pretty straightforward and has multiple objectives that update by simply visiting a location. And since there's nothing you need to extract with, you can complete it with a free kit or a customized loadout.
When you're ready to tackle Line in the Sand, follow the steps below.
Your first goal is to find the derailed train that never reached Marano Station. This is located on the far left side of the map.
Simply approaching this location will update the quest and grant you a new objective.
Luckily, the next objective is nearby.
After finding the derailed train, head just a bit east toward a tower.
When you arrive, mantle into the tower.
Inside the tower, check one of the corners for a spot you can interact with. Do so, then make sure you pick up the Marano Market Business Card that comes out.
Your objective will update again, but you'll be headed to the other side of the map this time.
Next, make your way to the crumbled ruins just east of the Hospital POI.
When you approach the ruins, your objective will automatically update.
The final step of this quest is to head ever-so-slightly northeast to a building on the edge of the map.
You can enter directly through the front of the building, then through the nearby door to spot a zipline that goes very far down into a basement.
In this basement, approach the boxes along the wall to find a prompt to take a photo. Do so to complete the quest.
