Nintendo has a busy 2026 ahead of it with upcoming exclusives for the Switch 2, but between those big releases, there'll be plenty of third-party games to keep an eye out for as well. Today's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is dedicated to those games from outside of Nintendo's studios, and you can tune in today to see what's headed to Switch consoles in the not-so-distant future.

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase start time and runtime

The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase will run for 30 minutes today, February 5, and you can tune in at the following times:

  • 6 AM PT
  • 9 AM ET
  • 2 PM BST
  • 11 PM JST

How to watch the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase

As usual, you can tune into Nintendo's official YouTube channel to watch the broadcast. An archived version of the stream will also be available after the initial premiere, as will trailers for each game shown during the event.

What to expect

This is the third Nintendo Direct of the year--following the livestreams for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct on January 25 and the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct on January 29--and Nintendo hasn't confirmed what games will be shown off yet. The last Partner Showcase was held back in July 2025, and that livestream was stacked with big titles like Star Wars Outlaws, Octopath Traveler 0, and Final Fantasy Tactics, so we're expecting to see a few AAA games make a splash alongside smaller indies.

Confirmed Switch games for early 2026 include Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, but a few surprises wouldn't be unwelcome. It has been a while since From Software revealed The Duskbloods, and Level 5's Professor Layton and the New World of Steam have been shrouded in mystery, so here's hoping those highly anticipated games show up today.

There are also rumors that the Switch 2 will receive more ports, with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 reportedly coming later this year. For more Nintendo news, check out GameSpot's impressions of the new Virtual Boy accessory and our impressions of Super Mario Wonder's Bellabel Park expansion.
