Pokemon Go April 2026 Events: Raid Bosses, Community Day, And More

Pokemon Go's Memories in Motion season continues in April with a new slew of events and activities to look forward to over the next few weeks. Kicking things off is a Fashion Raid Day, which will give players another chance to catch some fancy costume-wearing Pokemon, while Riolu is returning for an encore Hatch Day on April 18.

This month also sees the arrival of a few new Pokemon, including Silicobra and shiny Toedscool, both of which are set to debut during this year's Sustainability Week. The Paldean Pokemon Tinkatink is also stepping into the spotlight during April's Community Day, and some fan-favorite legendaries and Mega Pokemon are returning to Raids.

April Raid Bosses​

A handful of legendary and Mega Pokemon are returning to Raid Battles this month.

Regidrago will make an encore appearance in five-star Raids from April 1-7, with Kyogre, Groudon, and the island guardians Tapu Koko and Tapu Lele all slated to follow later in the month.

Meanwhile, various Mega Pokemon will cycle through Mega Raids, including fan favorites Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Alakazam. Shadow Latios will also appear as a Shadow Raid boss this month, while Dynamax Regirock will make its debut in Max Battles.

Fashion Raid Day​

Stylish Pokemon are taking center stage for a Fashion Raid Day on April 4.

From 2-5 PM local time, costume-wearing versions of Butterfree, Dragonite, Kirlia, Absol, and other Pokemon will appear more frequently in Raids. On top of being snazzily dressed, each Pokemon may also be shiny.

A few other bonuses will be active, as well. From April 3-4, the number of Remote Raid Passes you can hold is being increased to 20, making it easier to join a battle. You can also receive up to six Raid Passes for free on the day of the event by spinning Gym Photo Discs.

Tinkatink Community Day​

This month's Community Day takes place on April 11 and stars the fairy/steel Pokemon, Tinkatink.

From 2-5 PM local time, Tinkatink will appear in the wild more frequently, making this a great opportunity to fill out your Pokedex and stock up on candy. On top of that, you'll have increased odds of encountering a shiny Tinkatink, and you may even catch one that has a special background.

Along with the increased Tinkatink spawns, a few bonuses will be active throughout the event. You'll earn double candy and triple Stardust for catching Pokemon, and any Lure Modules or Incense that you use will last longer than usual. Trades will also cost 50 percent less Stardust, and you can make one more Special Trade during the event.

Last but not least, Tinkatink's final form, Tinkaton, can learn an exclusive attack. Any Tinkatuff that you evolve before 9 PM local time will know the Charged Attack Gigaton Hammer.

Bonuses​

Sustainability Week​

Pokemon Go's annual Sustainability Week returns from April 14-20.

This year's event introduces two more Pokemon from the Galar region: Silicobra and Sandaconda. The former will appear in the wild in desert areas, and it can be evolved into the latter using 50 Silicobra candy.

Other Pokemon like Seedot, Wiglett, and Toedscool will also appear in the wild more frequently during the event, while Lapras, Togepi, and Galarian Corsola wearing sunglasses will hatch from 7 km eggs. You'll also have your first chance to encounter a shiny Toedscool, and certain Pokemon will be more likely to appear along routes during different days of the event.

Riolu Hatch Day​

Break out the Incubators, because Pokemon Go is holding another Hatch Day on April 18.

From 11 AM to 5 PM local time, Riolu will hatch more frequently from 2 km eggs. On top of that, you'll have increased odds of hatching a shiny one, and you'll get double candy and XP every time you hatch an egg.

A few other bonuses will also be available during the event. Eggs will hatch at half the distance they normally require, and you'll be more likely to receive 2 km eggs when you spin PokeStops. There will be free and paid Timed Research tasks to complete as well, which will offer additional rewards.
