Samsung's new 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor is now available to preorder at Best Buy and Samsung ahead of its October 2 release date. The new gaming monitor is unsurprisingly pricey at $2,500, but both retailers are offering a pretty awesome preorder bonus. All orders placed between September 18 and October 1 come with a free $500 gift card to the retailer you ordered from.

Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor
The Odyssey Neo G9 has a massive curved 57-inch screen with a super-wide 32:9 aspect ratio and a 7,680 x 2,160 resolution. That's identical to two 32-inch 4K monitors placed side by side. In fact, the monitor offers multiple display options, including a single-image mode that takes advantage of the entire 32:9 screen, and Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes that let you view video from multiple inputs--meaning you could plug your PC and game console into this monitor and display both simultaneously.
The Odyssey Neo G9 also sports a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and supports AMD Freesync Premium Pro. These specs should make for a slick and smooth gaming experience free of stuttering or screen tearing. As for connectivity, the monitor includes one Display Port slot, three HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB hub.
