For many of us, our first taste of Pokemon came with the hit animated and manga series. One of the big new releases on the way is the official manga adaptation of Pokemon Sun and Moon, as it's being gathered into a 12-volume mini-manga set priced at $68.36. That's over 1,100 pages in total, and the collection includes a double-sided foldout color poster, but you'll have to wait until September to get it.

If you need something Pokemon-themed to read right now, then Pokemon Adventures comes highly recommended. Every mainline Pokemon generation has had a Pokemon Adventures tie-in manga series, and we've gathered several of the available box sets below for you to check out.

Just like the manga, Pokemon animated series has also accompanied the mainline games, and the majority of these followed Ash Ketchum on his journey to become a Pokemon master. Getting a complete collection can be tricky, but most of the Pokemon anime have made it onto DVD, and you can pick these up at a discounted price. We've listed them below, as well as several of the tie-in movies.
