If you've felt that there haven't been enough games that let you use your lightweight footwear as a tool to get payback on your enemies, then you're in luck. ShapeshifterInteractive has announced its inaugural game, Flip-Flop Fury, which lets players unleash the power that's been beneath your feet the entire time.
In the game's reveal trailer, the currently unnamed player character carefully aims his flip-flop to take out a guy whose only apparent crime is illegal public urination. Once he gets smacked in the face, there's no telling where that stream will land.
On the game's Steam page, the developers left the following message:
"We're excited to finally reveal Flip-Flop Fury--our tiny indie studio’s first game. It's a fast-paced, projectile steering arcade experience in which you smack deserving targets. The game is coming soon, and we'll share more updates (including demo news) soon. If it looks like your kind of thing, please consider wishlisting--it helps us a lot!"
Additional gameplay details have yet to be shared, although some of the screenshots appear to take place at an airport and a grocery store. ShapeshifterInteractive also notes that the game will have "short, replayable runs with tons of challenges, instant restart, bullet time, unlockable footwear, and juicy, reactive physics."
A release date for Flip-Flop Fury has yet to be announced.
