Next week is the return of Destiny 2's spooky Festival of the Lost, but before you start scouring the galaxy for candy, you might want to pay Xur a visit. Having landed in one of his regular locations, Xur is once again offering a refreshed selection of Exotic armor and weapons, Legendary-class gear, and his signature Xenology quest. Here's where Xur is this week, and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in The Watcher's Grave. For his weapon, Xur is offering the Lord of Wolves shotgun. Hunters can pick up the Gwisin Vest armor; Titans can grab the Insurmountable Skullfort helmet; and Warlocks can buy the Vesper of Radius armor.
Head to Nessus and use the Watcher's Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.
Exotic armor for the Hunter who likes to use their invisibility to their full advantage, the Roving Assassin perk will restore more of your Super energy for each kill made before going into stealth while using the Spectral Blades ability. For the stats, this roll has high mobility, strength and resilience, decent intellect, and a low combo of recovery and discipline.
Sure, it looks like a Daft Punk tribute, but this Titan Exotic helmet works brilliant for punch-happy Guardians looking for an extra chance at survival when they're in a scrap. Transfusion Matrix triggers health regeneration and restores melee energy when you land an Arc melee kill with this helmet equipped. Looking at the numbers, the key highlight is a very high recovery rate and a high strength stat, which ties in nicely to the identity of this Exotic. Resilience, intellect, and discipline are very low, so you'll need to work in some armor mods to address those poor stats.
We've seen some terrific builds this season using Vesper of Radius, as the Planetary Torrent perk when combined with the right gear and armor mods allows for a devastatingly powerful Warlock. This Exotic allows you to enhance your Rifts with explosive shockwaves, and the more damage they do, the more deadly they become to any enemies around you. This is an alright roll, as the numbers are mostly and evenly split across mobility, resilience, discipline, and strength, but the high recovery and intellect stats work well with this Exotic.
Lord of Wolves is a terrific Exotic shotgun that fires like a pulse rifle, and the only real drawback here is that it'll chew through your ammo reserves with wreckless abandon. It's first perk, Shrapnel Launcher, allows it to fire a powerful short-range burst of Solar-damage rounds, while its second perk, Release the Wolves, increases its rate of fire and allows it to shoot in full-auto mode.
After a dismal roll of Hawkmoon last week, Xur is once again back to offering a solid version of the fabled hand cannon. Rangefinder is the refreshed perk this week, which pairs quite nicely with the rest of the traits in this Exotic. Not a bad option at all, if you're looking to wield a Hawkmoon in PvP.
