Early into Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, Eris will give you a quest to find a hidden treasure in Kalina, the first dungeon you have access to. While you are going to have to rely on RNG to find the hidden treasure, once you know where to look, it's actually easy to find. Your reward is a blueprint for a new large sword, The Vow.
To find the hidden treasure, you will need to go to a Blacksmith room during a run in Kalina. The Blacksmith room is marked by a hammer icon on the room map screen, and typically appears about halfway through a run.
Once in the Blacksmith room, there will be a hidden path directly to the right, obscured by a rock formation. Follow the path to a green portal, which takes you to a trap filled obstacle course. This area features two kinds of traps, bear traps and wind traps. The bear trap can be rolled through, and since there isn't a meaningful cooldown for rolling, you can just fly through these without much worry.
The wind traps also aren't too difficult, you simply need to pay attention to when the wind stops and move through them when there is a break in the wind. At the end of the room, you will obtain The Vow blueprint.
The Vow large sword doesn't consume sharpness on attack and instead loses 2% every second. You can unlock it for 4,000 Coins and 4 Sun Eater materials. With the way the passive works on The Vow, it rewards aggressive gameplay and is a huge damage boost if that's how you like to play.
